Felipe Memoria, one of Brazil’s best known designers, is partner and head of product design at Huge. Memoria creates user experience strategies for large-scale client engagements and has worked on some of Huge’s most celebrated projects, including Pepsi’s Refresh Project, HBO GO and CNN.com. He is also actively involved in the development of the agency’s office in Rio de Janeiro.
Felipe has more than a decade of design experience. Prior to joining Huge he served as Creative Lead at Globo.com, where he designed some of Brazil’s most visited sites, and taught post-graduate courses as an associate professor at PUC-Rio. Memoria is also known for conducting pioneering accessibility studies in Brazil, testing systems for users with special needs.
At age 26, Memoria wrote one of the most influential books about design and usability in Brazil: Design para a Internet: Projetando a Experiência Perfeita (Design for the Internet: Designing the Perfect Experience). He has a MS in Usability and Human-Computer Interaction and a BS in Visual Design, both from PUC-Rio.
