VP, User Research
Eric’s main focus is to ensure that the voice of the user is present throughout every project at Huge. Eric manages an experienced team of researchers that leverages a range of primary research techniques, including usability testing, community research, segmentations, observational research and mobile ethnographies to understand users and how they experience the world around them.
Eric has worked in strategic planning and research for over 20 years at several global agencies, and was a founding partner of a successful brand-consulting firm. Most recently, at a 50-year-old firm that focused on custom quantitative research, he established a full-service qualitative practice, developing hybrid research techniques that melded research best practices and new digital research techniques.
Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in English while playing football for the University of Oregon, and did graduate work in rhetoric and creative writing at Oregon State University.
