Group Director, Content Strategy
John helps businesses create strategies that prioritize and plan for producing and managing digital assets to meet user needs and business goals over the course of the complete content lifecycle. At Huge, John has provided strategic guidance on content to clients including Target, American Express, Comcast and GE Capital. He has conducted large-scale content inventories, audits and gap analyses; created taxonomies, content workflow processes and governance guidelines; and developed content optimization and governance procedures. John has worked at the intersection of marketing communications and digital development and design for 20 years.
Prior to joining Huge, he pioneered the use of the web for marketing and selling books at Simon & Schuster. He went on to help IBM sort out its web presence and led a prestigious nonprofit justice organization’s digital communications and knowledge-sharing efforts. He also directed the communications office for the preeminent law school for intellectual property law. John earned his bachelor’s degree in English at The College of Wooster.
