Developer (Java)

HUGE is looking for an experienced java developer to join our team to lead initiatives on some of our largest client engagements. Java developers liaise between cross-functional teams to understand core requirements and recommend and implement solutions that follow-up best practices and standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for design as well as an intimate understanding and appreciation for java-based web and enterprise applications
 
Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of comprehensive experience in Java-based web / enterprise application development and deployment to J2EE containers such as Tomcat, JBOSS, or WebSphere.
  • In-depth knowledge of common Java libraries such as Spring, Tapestry, Velocity, Hibernate, Lucene/Solr, Maven2, Cayenne, EhCache, Axis, etc.
  • Experience with projects involving Content Management Systems similar to TeamSite, Sitecore, Day CQ, Alfresco, etc.
  • Experience with Web Service technologies such as SOAP, REST, WSDL, JSON, XML, etc.
  • Solid understanding of graphical web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, XML, and Ajax.
