In 2012, Ian Coyle and Duane King, two of America’s most respected interactive designers, joined Huge to form Huge/KingCoyle, a design innovation lab operating out of Portland, Oregon. Known for their contributions to the Portland design community and for pioneering the use of parallax scrolling in their groundbreaking work on Nike’s Better World project, King and Coyle were recognized by Fast Company as two of the “50 Most Influential Designers in America” in 2011.
Huge’s Portland office operates as a design innovation lab for select companies looking to push the boundaries of design. The office specializes in design for emerging platforms and interfaces, from mobile and tablet devices to touchscreens, in-store digital installations, and other connected devices. The team is also known for its exceptional work in creative data visualization.
Huge/KingCoyle operates as part of a family of Huge offices in the United States, Europe and Latin America, which together constitute a global collective of shared talent and resources. The office is overseen by Managing Director Michael Claypool.
