Huge Brings World Information Architecture Day to Rio de Janeiro for the First Time.

World Information Architecture Day (WIAD) is a free one-day annual conference hosted by the Information Architecture Institute and held in dozens of cities across the world. It's organized by a community of like-minded professionals and enthusiasts who share the common goal of teaching, learning, and shaping the future of Information Architecture.

For the first time, Rio de Janeiro is hosting one of these conferences. Organized by Huge, with the support of Istituto Europeo di Design (IED-Rio), the event will bring together IA professionals from companies like Globosat, New York Times and Outra Coisa for a day of lectures, shared knowledges and experiences. Huge's UX Directors Laura Lessa and Sérgio Salvador, and Senior Interaction Designer Anna Raquel Serra will discuss the past, the present and the future of IA, and the digital trends like internet of things.

The event is free and open to the public. Registrations for the event can be done at http://wiadrio.com/.
