Huge CEO Aaron Shapiro Joins Crain's '40 Under 40' Class of 2011.

Crain’s has recognized Huge CEO Aaron Shapiro as one of 2011’s 40 under 40, New York’s most prestigious list of emerging young leaders.

March 27, 2011. Brooklyn. Crain’s has recognized Huge CEO Aaron Shapiro as one of 2011’s 40 under 40, New York’s most prestigious list of emerging young leaders. Other technology influencers included in the class of 2011 this year are Foursquare founder Dennis Crowley, Facebook co-founder Chris Hughes, Tumblr founder David Karp, and New York City’s Chief Digital Officer Rachel Sterne.

"Mr. Shapiro sold Huge for close to $40 million to The Interpublic Group of Cos., a global network of marketing agencies, in 2008. The corporate backing allowed the married father of two to raise $10 million for a major international expansion, which started last year.

Adding to the string of achievements, Online Media, Marketing and Advertising magazine dubbed Huge the social media agency of 2010. And Advertising Age recently named Mr. Shapiro’s firm to its A-List of hot agencies to watch, for the second straight year.
