The User Experience Awards, a premier international competition that celebrates and honors exceptional digital products and services based on superior user experience, recognized HBO’s HBO GO Mobile Apps a 2012 Gold winner. Designed for HBO by Huge, HBO GO was selected for the award by a panel of leading entrepreneurs, technology enthusiasts and digital professionals.
The HBO GO mobile app, which allows users to watch original HBO programming on a tablet, mobile device or XBox Live system, was named Best Cross-Platform Experience.
The Gold User Experience Award is the 14th Award won by HBO GO since its release in April 2011. Other prominent honors have included a 2012 Digiday Award for Best Brand Platform, a 2012 One Show Interactive Award for Mobile Services and a 2011 MOBI Award for Best Mobile App for Branded Content.
