September 16, 2015. Brooklyn. Huge has partnered with EA Sports, Electronic Arts’ powerhouse brand behind popular video games such as Madden NFL and FIFA, to create the NBA Live Companion app for the newly released NBA Live 16 game.

The app takes player personalization to the next level by encouraging fans to scan themselves and their friends into the game. In addition to scanning faces, users are able to choose from a variety of physical attributes such as hairstyle, skin color, and body type to increase personalization.

The simplified experience creates a high-resolution, 3-D rendering using GameFaceHD scanning technology, transporting fans into the game as real-life NBA players. With clear instructions and feedback at every step of the way, NBA Live Companion allows users to scan and place themselves into the game in minutes.

NBA Live Companion makes player creation and personalization a seamless experience across devices. By syncing directly with users’ EA accounts, the app encourages users to share their customized players with friends across social channels.

NBA Live Companion was released on September 16 and is available for iOS and Android. For more information about NBA Live 16, visit:
