WASHINGTON, D.C. May 12, 2016 - Huge, a full-service digital and design firm headquartered in Brooklyn, NY with offices worldwide, moved to its new space at the Maurice Electrical Supply building located at 530 Penn Street NE in the Union Market district.

The 60-person office was previously housed at 875 N Street NW in Shaw.

“We’re committed to cultivating D.C.’s creative community at the intersection of technology, design and business,” Managing Director Kate Watts said. “After three years witnessing the transformation of Shaw into an arts and entertainment destination, we’re excited to expand to Union Market, knowing the neighborhood is also a hotbed for culture and creativity in our city.”

Huge occupies 11,870 square feet in a formerly vacant industrial warehouse, which is also home to soccer team D.C. United, restaurant software startup Venga, and film production company Good Fight Media, among others.

“We’re excited for an international agency like Huge to be one of the anchors of a growing business community in our neighborhood,” said Jodie W. McLean, CEO of EDENS, the leading retail real estate developer in the Union Market district. “We encourage entrepreneurs, intellects and creatives to collaborate and learn from each other’s experiences. It helps to have them working and interacting in close proximity. Together, they will help define the future of not only this neighborhood but our broader city.”

Founded in Brooklyn, Huge has been operating out of D.C. since 2011 and provides user-focused design, digital business transformation strategy and integrated marketing services to clients like Pfizer, Federal Student Aid, Time Warner Cable, NPR and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, to name a few. It is a proud partner of the monthly CreativeMornings/Washington, DC speaker series.
