Every year, college students miss out on nearly $3 billion in financial aid simply because they don’t think they’re eligible to get it. All kinds of misconceptions float around in their heads. So we partnered with the one guy who counters misconceptions better than anyone else—College Humor star Adam Conover, host of TruTV’s Adam Ruins Everything—to help them realize that nearly everyone qualifies for some kind of financial aid. The Result? Nearly 1.9 million video views, over 13.8 million organic social media impressions, and a 21% increase in financial aid applications (a.k.a. The FAFSA).
