Job Description.

Huge is looking for a Business Director to join the Client Services team in our London office.

The Business Director is an equal mix of being a client’s strategic partner, Huge’s business operator, and a champion of the craft. Their core focus is to develop and maintain trusting, longstanding and profitable relationships with key senior-level clients.

The Business Director is responsible for providing strategic leadership and organic growth across large scale engagements. The Business Director is able to identify a client’s business needs and inspire the Huge cross-disciplinary teams to deliver world class creative, product and experience to drive impact and measurable results for our clients.

A proactive attitude, ability to apply critical thinking and passion for setting and leading the strategic direction is at the core of this role. An ability to solicit information, understand your client’s business and develop tangible opportunities to strengthen and grow the agency x client relationship is a key skill of any successful Business Director. Contributing to Huge’s behaviours, you will thrive when faced with new challenges and will constantly strive to improve the way things are done for our clients.

 

Responsibilities.

  • Responsible for proactively developing and leading overall account strategy and growth.

  • Responsible for developing and maintaining trusting, strategic and longstanding relationships with our clients, that deliver the highest levels of value and impact.

  • Leadership of cross-functional teams to develop creative and strategic work that transforms our client’s business.

  • Grow our client base with key client executives and maintain strong senior relationships, as well as introduce new opportunities accordingly while providing meaningful contribution to organic growth and new business.

  • Lead the strategic development of new business through identification, pursuit and conversion of additional opportunities for Huge.

  • Work in conjunction with Finance to effectively manage account profitability by negotiating statements of work and contracts.

  • Participate in recruitment initiatives by managing the interview and selection process ensuring Huge continues to recruit top talent. Serve as an ambassador for Huge in candidate interviews actively promoting the benefits of joining Huge.

  • Lead and mentor others within their client teams or portfolio, and provide a viewpoint on team resource and configuration.

 

What we’d like to see.

  • Experience at Business Director or comparable level.

  • Seasoned in a client services organization, on accounts within an agency or top tier

    consulting firm.

  • Proven ability to grow long term, multi-million pound engagements.

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain trusted, long term and profitable

    relationships with senior clients.

  • Proven ability to proactively identify, shape and convert large scale, strategic

    opportunities with clients.

  • Ability to manage and set client expectations through the understanding of the

    client’s business, whatever market sector, and ability to discuss knowledgably with

    the client.

  • Ability to build a team, mentor and effectively manage through proactively

    addressing performance issues and taking appropriate action.

  • Must have strong presentation skills, with the ability to conceive, prepare, author and give key presentations to clients and large numbers of people, as well as

    manage question-and-answer sessions.

  • Understanding of team utilization and project allocation, and ability to manage

    overall client profitability.
