Job Description.

Social Media Strategy Director.

We’re partnering with the biggest brand in children’s play to drive transformation in their approach to the ways they connect, story-tell, build relationships and create value with a global audience of consumers, shoppers and partners in social.

To achieve our ambition, we’re looking for a Social Media Strategy Director – this is a senior, client facing role for an experienced, hands-on change maker.


The role.

Following an initial programme of work in which we’ve delivered the global Social Strategy and begun a number of ‘Kickstarters’ to quickly transition to the new model, we now need a hands-on, pragmatic strategy leader who can collaborate with and drive multi-disciplinary teams from across Huge and our IPG agency partners to:

  • Plan and unlock client value and growth in agreed priority social channels. 
  • Drive ongoing tests and Beta’s in new channels.
  • Act as a social SME across ongoing campaigns, product launches and cultural moments to realise social’s potential in driving brand and commercial outcomes.
  • Deliver best in class consulting and advice to internal teams and client stakeholders demonstrating deep understanding and pragmatic experience of the social media landscape – what will work, what to avoid, how to accelerate and scale solutions.
  • Become a trusted advisor and SME to the client organisation.


Your Experience.

You’ll have significant creative agency and social media experience and be able to demonstrate:

  • Tangible experience of delivering global social media programmes across multi-stakeholder organisations.
  • Hands on deep social media subject matter expertise across established and emerging channels.
  • A creative, solutions orientated thinker.
  • An analytical mind with a hunger for driving business results.
  • Strong written and presentation communication skills.
