Technical Analytics Lead.

Job Description.

This role is open to remote within the posted state.

Huge is looking for a Technical Analytics Lead to join the Analytics team! As a Technical Analytics Lead you are responsible for leading the discipline, and supporting all advanced platform implementations for the experiences we build, partnering closely with the UX, Strategy, and Technology teams to ensure that all necessary data elements are being collected for the next generation of digital experiences.

Your primary role will be to ensure Huge is leading the industry on data collection and implementation strategies across a broad range of digital experiences, including web, app, experiential, augmented reality & web 3.0.

What you’ll be doing. 

  • Lead the discipline by developing standards, processes and best practices that deliver best in class measurement solutions for the complex experiences we build.
  • Liaise with business analysts and development teams to define data layer specifications to support data capture requirements e.g. configure tags in GTM/Launch/etc, QA implementation in staging and live environments, troubleshoot implementation issues.
  • Develop & customize Javascript for complex data collection for website analytics.
  • Scope out deliverables, manage resourcing and delivery for the team engagement across multiple streams of work.
  • Assist in developing a growth strategy for the team, including documentation, client presentation materials, and education and mentorship programs for team members.
  • Bring new techniques, methodologies and technologies to the discipline to ensure we’re leading the industry on measurement.
  • Develop POV’s on Platforms, Vendors, and Technologies in the measurement space.
  • Work with the data products and development teams to develop new solutions that automate parts of the workflow to standardize, reduce error and realize efficiencies.
  • Be the bridge between the strategy, data, development and engineering teams, as we help clients realize the full potential of their technology investments.

What we’d like to see:

  • Extensive experience with multiple tag management solutions including Google Tag Manager/Adobe Launch/ Tealium/Signal/etc.
  • You should have a proven track record building and managing complex analytics implementations for GA4, Adobe Analytics or other web analytics platforms.
  • A history managing complex migrations from one platform to another, including Google’s Universal Analytics to GA4.
  • Experience measuring non-standard experiences, such as augmented reality, experiential, web 3.0.
  • Well-versed in basic HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Familiarity with BigQuery, Google Analytics API and Google Marketing Platforms 
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and client) and tailor their communication to different audiences (based on seniority, technical knowledge etc.)
  • Experience working with other technical marketing platforms (e.g., Customer Data Platforms, Data Visualization, CRM  and/or cloud data platforms is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with SQL and relational data warehousing concepts.
