Fura is the ultimate evangelist and primary caretaker of all things creative at Huge, working to ensure the work is the best it can be, and that our creatives are empowered to do the best work of their lives. For over 20 years, Fura has helped some of the world’s most innovative companies leverage the power of creativity. Now, it’s her job to ensure that Huge delivers the industry’s most innovative and impactful digital products, connected services, campaigns, and brand experiences.

Fura began her career in Reykjavik, Iceland, in early 2000 when she started to work at one of Iceland's first leading digital agencies. She came to Huge in February 2022 from Publicis Sapient, where she spent two years as Chief Design Officer of the Experience practice across EMEA, the Middle East, and Asia.

Before Publicis Sapient, Fura worked at R/GA for over 11 years, providing vision and leadership for teams in New York, Stockholm and the Middle East. She was the creative lead on R/GA’s Nike account in New York, innovating Nike’s e-commerce and retail businesses. She also led the creative team for Samsung US and R/GA’s Walmart account. She later relocated to Stockholm, where she provided a strategic vision and leadership for a new R/GA office, partnering with clients such as Volvo, H&M, Absolut, and ICA, and helping spearhead the agency’s growth in the Middle East.

Fura has judged and served as a jury president for various industry awards, including the Cannes Lions, Clios, One Show, D&AD, Eurobest, and others. She is a proud trustee of D&AD, and played a crucial role in helping Huge to be recognized as a top 10 “Workplace for Innovators” by Fast Company in 2021.
