Dick De Lange
Dick de Lange is Managing Director and Global Head of Planning at Huge. De Lange is charged with developing, building, and executing brand, marketing, and communications strategies for global clients and pivotal in establishing the overarching vision for the discipline internally and externally. Dick has extensive experience in targeting millennials and helping brands overcome competitors with memorable strategies and campaigns, including Nike Fuel Band, Stride Gum, and Converse. His most memorable and effective work was for Miller High Live, when he disrupted the competition during the Super Bowl with the One Second Ad; the work received an Effie and positive press.
Dick’s career has spanned three continents and a variety of brands, including McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Lexus, State Farm, Sony, MillerCoors and Dell. He has served in strategic leadership roles at JWT, in New York, Omnicom’s DDB, and Publicis Groupe’s Saatchi & Saatchi in the United States, Australia, and the Netherlands. Most recently, Dick served as chief strategy officer of North America at Young & Rubicam, working on Samsung, and helped shape strategy for Converse, Hunter Douglas, Unilever, and Nike Digital Sport and Commerce.
