Jason Schlossberg.

  • MD, Strategic Communications.

Jason joined Huge in 2017 to design, build, and future-proof a communications offering that would help leading organizations transform their businesses, their industries, and the lives of their customers.

By merging Huge’s existing editorial, social, and influencer teams with a new “earned creative” team, Jason has been the driving force behind the creation of the agency’s fast-growing and award-winning Strategic Communications discipline. A member of the global leadership team at Huge, Jason plays an integral role in developing highly targeted, insights-based creative communications programs that involve corporate positioning, branding, extensive traditional and social media relations, content development, influencer engagement, events, promotional campaigns, product launches, and issues management for Huge’s most innovative clients. In addition, as the acting editor-in-chief of Magenta—Huge’s external publishing platform—Jason plays a central role in setting the agency’s thought leadership agenda.

While the primary mission at Huge is to Make Things That People Love, Jason and the Strategic Communications discipline rally around the complementary mission of helping Make Newsworthy Things That People Love. This focus ensures that the agency’s campaigns, communications, and products are purpose-built with novelty, relevance, and talkability from the startand are designed to mitigate reputational risks before launch. By helping inject “newsworthiness” into Huge’s work, Jason and the Strategic Communications discipline provide a useful and accessible framework for clients to take more ambitious, bold, and ownable positions. As a result, Jason and his team have helped architect some of Huge’s most high-profile and creative engagements, including Pantone’s first multisensory Color of the Year, and Full Transparency by Verizon, an open-source, blockchain-based product designed to restore corporate transparency and rebuild public trust in online information.

Prior to joining Huge, Jason spent 11 years as the Chief Creative Officer/Co-Founder of Kwittken, an award-winning global communications agency. Regarded as one of the communications industry’s most forward-thinking individuals, Jason was named to PRWeek’s 40 Under 40 list in 2009, and was identified by PRovoke Media as one of the 25 most innovative people in communications in 2014 and 2020—one of only three people to receive this honor twice. He regularly speaks at global conferences including SXSW and CES/Digital Hollywood, and is a frequent contributor to industry trades and podcasts, in addition to being a sought-after source for national media including The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal.
