Creating a new brand platform for Nike's most passionate consumers: sneakerheads.
Nike is famous for making some of the world’s most coveted sneakers—and for being the envy of sneakerheads globally. To tap directly into this community of sneaker lovers, Nike tasked us with creating an experience that could connect the sneaker community directly with Nike, providing all shoe and drop information at users’ fingertips. The SNKRS app gives these fans their greatest weapon yet: the combination of education and buying power.
For sneakerheads, getting the desired shoe drop was often limited by their physical location, local retailer stock, and ability to wait in line for a release. This process set frustrating and unfair restrictions on some of the most passionate Nike fans.
So Nike asked us to create a new digital community and shopping platform that sneakerheads could access from anywhere, at any time.
Our answer? SNKRS, an all-in-one digital experience that breaks down purchasing barriers for sneakerheads and gives them exclusive access to the latest news and stories behind the brand’s always evolving — and always sought-after — lines of shoes.
One-touch buying allows users to snap up shoes that will sell out in seconds. Users can also shop for old favorites, customize their shoes, and learn about the storied histories behind Nike’s products. Plus, the platform feeds users personalized content, so sneakerheads can easily find what they want in Nike’s vast catalog of offerings.
With a mobile first approach, we helped Value Retail create a new digital experience across 11 of its global websites.
