We worked with Nike to tap straight into the core fanbase of sneakerheads with a powerful new digital platform. Exclusive drop information, shoe customization options, and one touch buying helped engage the die hards throughout the experience.

Huge teamed up with Nike to develop and design a new brand platform experience that engaged the large, die-hard Sneakerhead audience throughout the entire buying process.

Nike is famous for making some of the world’s most coveted sneakers—and for being the envy of sneakerheads globally. To tap directly into this community of sneaker lovers, Nike tasked Huge with creating an experience and design that connected the sneaker community directly with Nike, providing all shoe and drop information at the touch of a finger. The SNKRS app gives these fans their greatest weapon yet: the combination of education and buying power.

Challenge.

For sneakerheads, getting the desired shoe drop was often limited by their physical location, local retailer stock, and ability to wait in line for a release. This process set frustrating and unfair restrictions on some of the most passionate Nike fans.

To bring loyalty to a more broad audience, Nike engaged Huge to create a new digital community for sneaker fans that they could access from anywhere, at any time.

Approach.

We created SNKRS, a digital experience that provides fans with exclusive access to the latest news and stories behind the brand’s always-evolving—and always sought-after—lines of shoes. Users can shop for and customize new releases or old favorites and learn about the storied histories behind the products all in one place.

Leveraging Nike’s minimalist yet polished product photography, Huge designed a system of cards and threads to serve the user personalized content. And with one touch buying, users are able to quickly purchase a shoe that will literally sell out in seconds.
