At the Webflow Conference in San Francisco, Kieron Leppard, MD, Global Head UX Design-Experience Design at Huge, discussed a transformative recent shift in digital interactions.
In his talk, “The Future of Experience,” Leppard highlighted how the future will be shaped by personalized, intelligent brand-consumer interactions. Customers, he explained, increasingly expect new levels of control, requiring digital experiences to become truly dynamic and respond to their unique needs.
"For the first time, technology is truly adapting to us,” said Leppard. “It’s incredibly easy to use—you don’t need a computer science degree. It’s evolved from ‘I tell you what to do,’ to ‘we do it together,’ and now to ‘you do it for me.’ It’s the trust that is the most exciting bit about where we’re headed.”

Leppard shared insights into interaction design, the growing role of AI in work and life, and how it will make experiences more anticipatory, personalized and conversational.
“When we think about electricity automating physical tasks, AI is here to automate cognitive tasks”, he explained. “What can the machine do on our behalf to make our experiences better?”
